The Gentlebros, creators of ‘Slashy Hero’, have brought us the most pun-laden game ever devised for mobile or desktop gaming. This is not a joke, it’s a pure statement of fact. Not that puns are all this game has going for it, what’s on display here is a near master class in touch-screen design.
Moji Quest is something of an odd duck, the first real RPG to take advantage of the new iOS in-message app feature, it’s visual style and sense of party-based fun will either be embraced or shunned by players in equal measures.
Super Quest is a light RPG experience that doesn’t really fall into any single category perfectly but best fits the Clicker (or Tapper) model. Designed around giving players a constant goal that’s visible just ahead of them and short, sharp bursts of play.
There aren’t many games on mobile that perfectly marry the concept of a dungeon crawl with party management and world exploration. Warhammer Quest, from Rodeo Games is a perfect example of this done right, with gamers treated to the kind of title you can drop in and out of for short room-by-room exploration sessions or settle into a meatier period of dungeon crawling.
